Latin Jazz: Yesterday and Today This dynamic program is designed for young musicians aged 7 to 14. Students explore jazz’s rich history, foster their creativity, and develop their passion for music. Guided by experienced educators and inspired by Philadelphia’s legendary sounds, participants learn the art of musical improvisation and discover the deep connections between music and language. This program honors Philadelphia’s musical pioneers and inspires the next generation of artists.
AMLA Summer Music Institute Aimed at youth aged 15 to 20, the AMLA Youth Songwriting and Engineering Summer Institute 2024 is a five-week program that equips participants with essential skills in songwriting, audio production, and social justice advocacy. The program provides hands-on experience, professional development, and a stipend upon completion.
